I could tell that Zayn was triggered a bit by Jacob’s refusal to publicize what was done to Julia’s parents. He chuckled and then rub his hand over his face. “You know how this looks, right?” He asked.

“No, enlighten me,” Jacob smirked. 

“You not agreeing to make this whole matter public when years have passed proves to me that something is not right; that you did something you were ashamed of.”

“Or…I just don’t want to do so. And what’s the point of doing it anyway? Her parents are dead and they are coming back.” Jacob said this as he looked at Julia.

Julia snapped and we had to pull her away from the vampire king or she would have done something that we would all have regretted.
