Chapter 125

The car tires screeched on the road as we came to a hard stop. The windshield was bashed in a bit and the car was blaring an alarm. 

My heart was beating so hard in my chest and shock filled me. Tears immediately built into my eyes as I turned to look at Liam. His eyes were crazy and he was hyperventilating.

“Sh*t, Lara, we have to go see.” Liam opened the door of the car quickly and stepped out but I stayed put. 

I felt incredibly lightheaded and just needed a minute to process what had just happened. 

I placed my hands on the dashboard and took in a few deep breaths before releasing them. Tears were already falling from my eyes and my hands were trembling. I lifted my head and opened the door of the car. 

“Liam…” My voice was small. Too small for anyone to hear. When I got out of the car, I looked at the bloody scene and my lips quivered. “Oh my god, oh my god,” I kept repeating to myself as I approached Liam.
