Liam stood up from the couch and his grin did not disappear off his face. “I do. I do have a driver’s license. I turn eighteen next month,” He said proudly. 

“Um, but I thought you were supposed to be eighteen before you could be issued a driver’s license?”

“Not really. It really depends on the town you’re in. In Rocky, you can apply under seventeen years of age. But I learned that in Beacon, you have to be legit eighteen or older.” 

I nodded in understanding as I stood to my feet. “Yeah, but since you already have your license, even if we get stopped, we would be good. I hope so.”
