At the Hospital  

Nico arrived with hurried steps. As soon as he entered the room, he saw Calvin lying on the bed, his face flushed with fever. Celine sat beside him, holding a wet cloth which she placed on Calvin's forehead.  

"Nico, you finally came," Celine said in a tired tone, but there was a hint of relief in her voice.  

"What happened?" asked Nico, approaching Calvin's bed. He took the boy's small hand, which felt hot against his skin.  

"He's been looking for you since this afternoon," Celine replied. "I tried to calm him down, but he got too stressed and ended up running a fever again. I'm afraid it's getting worse."  

Nico let out a long breath, looking at Calvin guiltily. "I shouldn't have gone."  

"It's not the time to blame yourself, Nico," Celine cut in with a stern tone. "What matters now is Calvin. You're here now, that's what he needs."
