Chapter 70. Six-Letter Word
Never in my life did I think a six-letter word would ever turn my life upside down.
Leslie isn’t even alive but I want to kill her again. And not just her, but her memories too, simply because although she’s dead, her memories still live on, haunting my darling husband.
Kian is not here, and in his wake is my mother. The doctors left after confirming I was well, and so did Eddy, ignoring the silent plea in my eyes. I didn’t want to be left alone with her because we would have to talk, and I don’t want to talk.
Nobody seemed to understand this as they filed out of the house one by one. It was when Eddy shut the door, I realized that it’s just us.
