Chapter 8. Butterflies
Snow’s POV
“I know I’ve asked already. But why exactly are you so willing to help me? I know it’s a great inconvenience, and again, you barely know me,” I ask Stefan as I chew on some wild meat he caught and roasted.
It’s been three days since Stefan and I have been traveling together, and I came to the conclusion that I could trust him. We ran into rogues again, and just like the first time, he fought them off easily. He said we’d probably run into more of them, but he assured me he’s stronger than all of them combined.
The first two nights, I wasn’t able to sleep comfortably around him. Now the only thing that haunts my sleep are memories of my mom and my master. Talking to Stefan gets my mind off everything wrong with my life for a while. He’s honestly kind of funny and very easygoing. It’s a miracle people like him still exist.
