Luckily, the driveway had been cleared of snow. To be on the safe side, I kept an eye on the ground. You never knew if you might slip.

I only took a few steps when Aramis was standing next to me. He offered me his arm and I gladly took it. I put my arm in his and asked "Is it a general thing for vampires that you don't slip in the snow? Or are you an exception?"

"As with werewolves, it's very different. The clumsy ones tend to have a higher accident risk in this weather." He put it nicely and you had to agree with him.

We made our way to the house unscathed. With Aramis by my side, it was much more relaxed. With him as my support, practically nothing could have happened to me.

The building itself was a single-family home this time, which was basically too big for two people. The outer walls were pure white and thanks to the snow cover, the roof was the same color.

The excitement grew as to whether there was any wood inside.
