The king removed his hand from me and stood up. It was finally done, at least that's what I hoped. It was a good thing I didn't say anything else, otherwise it would have gotten worse.
And I had myself to thank for all of that. I even asked him to do it.
The rustling of chains could be heard as they were tightened so I had to stay in this position.
My wrists and ankles burned like hell. The silver was already showing its effect. I tilted my head back and tried my best not to make a sound. I didn't allow the beast to know what torment I was suffering.
Additionally, I struggled with my breathing. If I weren't a werewolf, I'd be left with a bruise from the tight grip. So it should have healed soon unless the silver weakened me too much, then the healing would be slower.
I heard a squeak and a loud bang. So the dungeon door was closed. To make matters worse, they locked it down.
