Most people who didn't know each other beforehand dated each other. First, you got to know each other, and then you completed your mate band. But Sam and his soulmate had chosen the quick method.

No matter how crazy it was, it made me smile. "Congratulate him for me." I became thoughtful when I commented: "It's probably the Beta blood in your family. You're more obsessed with your mate."

Sam was the firstborn in the family and his beta genes had the strongest impact. As a second child, Lucy didn't have quite as strong Beta blood, but it was still there.
