While I hold Audrey's hand and time passes, nurses come in now and then or a doctor takes another look at her head. The next morning, Audrey still hasn't woken up, but that doesn't seem to surprise anyone here.

I just keep waiting until early morning, then Audrey moves and I look at her. I press a button and a doctor comes in and talks to her and explains everything to her. I call her grandmother who seems visibly relieved.
