I had hardly slept that night. First, I had been awake for a long time with Tiana. We had gone through all possible combinations of my outfit. Then she had a few attempts at styling my hair. The woman was a gifted person when it came to styling hair. We had fun with all of this. I had to admit to myself that I was liking her more and more, especially a vampire.

Eventually, I went to bed, but I couldn't sleep. My thoughts were too loud for anyone to find peace.

That made it even harder for me to get up in the morning. But if you can't sleep anyway, you should start the day by looking for a distraction.
