"By then I'll be drunk myself. I'll have forgotten about it myself." He shrugged his shoulders and continued differently: "Let's be realistic, as soon as I'm dead, you'll be gone. You'll return to your family. Although it's questionable whether you'll manage that."
I had the thought myself. We were far into his realm. It was a long way home. If the vampires had become ill-disposed towards the werewolves by then, it would be a dangerous journey.
I lifted my glass slightly and tilted it in agreement. The alcohol could slowly take effect. But the king wasn't all that unbearable at the moment.
Aramis followed suit and we went into the third round. Since it was a double whisky each time, I would soon feel the effects of the alcohol.
I asked casually: "Why are you locking Tiana up like this? It's cruel. She's getting lonely." He stayed quiet for a moment
