The day went quickly with Tiana, especially because she stuck to it and avoided Aramis as a topic. That way we could enjoy the day. We both read a book and chatted now and then.
We didn't leave the library until dinner. On the way to the dining room, we talked about the book we had read, although Tiana did most of that. I felt stressed inside because I was worried that we would run into Aramis. It was entirely possible, after all, we lived in the same building, so it could happen.
It was probably a premonition because we were halfway through the entrance hall when the front door suddenly opened. I stopped dead in my tracks and looked over with wide eyes in shock.
