Michelle was completely shocked.
Her hand trembled as she gave the papers to Ethan so he could see it for himself. When Ethan took it and read it, his eyes narrowed in confusion.
“Who is this woman? This is not Anna,” he told the cops and looked at them with a questioning look. “This is an old woman. Anna is still in her mid-20’s!”
One of the cops tilted his head and gave them an empathetic look.
“That’s the issue here, Sir. We have confirmed with the agency that Anna Peterson is a fifty-year-old nanny. She was the one who was chosen to work for your daughter, not the woman in the picture you provided. The agency had no idea who that woman was. They have been trying to call Anna Peterson for weeks and all they were getting were text messages saying that she couldn’t accept calls due to her busy working schedule in your family.”
