I grabbed my phone from the coffee table, checking for any missed messages. That’s when I saw the notification. It was from one of my contacts in York City. I tapped on it, reading the message that came through.

“Boss,” the message started. “Your attention is needed in York City immediately. There’s something you need to take care of and Isabella is back.”

Wait…what? Isabella?

I felt my heart skip a beat. Something about the message felt urgent. I couldn’t put my finger on it, but it was clear that whatever it was, it couldn’t wait.

I quickly dialed the number, waiting as the phone rang. When the voice on the other end finally picked up, I didn’t waste any time. “What’s going on?” I asked, my tone sharp. “Why the rush?”

“You need to get here, Bos
