Why was Logan buying a ring? Was the ring for Layla. And why hadn’t he said anything to me about it? The questions swirled in my mind as I tried to make sense of what I had just witnessed.

Logan’s POV

I drove to the ring store with my thoughts scattered. I wasn’t sure why, but the closer I got to the store, the more I felt a flutter of anticipation in my chest.

I had never been one for grand gestures, but this was different. Isabella was different. She had changed everything for me, and now I was going to make sure she knew it.

The drive was short, and soon I found myself pulling up to the store. I parked and walked inside, the familiar scent of polished wood and velvet filling my senses.

The jeweler greeted me with a warm smile and led me to the back, where the ring was waiting.
