Jason’s POV

I clenched my fists at my sides, the urge to say something…anything…almost overwhelming. But what could I say? Sorry for hitting your car, now please don’t destroy my life? That wasn’t going to cut it, not with Logan.

He smirked, as if he could sense my inner turmoil. 

“What’s the matter, dude? Cat got your tongue? Or are you just too embarrassed to admit how badly you’ve screwed up?”

My jaw tightened, but I forced myself to stay calm. Losing my temper here would only give him more ammunition to use against me.
