Liam's POV

"So, what do you want us to do?" He asked.

"You just got back. Relax. Let the big boys handle it." Varis replied. Kris ignored him and walked over to the couch in the room. He plumped down on it.

"Yeah," He said, "But I'm well rested and ready to cause trouble."

They both looked at me waiting for me to say something. I folded my hands together and leaned my chin on it.

"What's the one thing that Alpha Gerald cherishes the most?" I asked, looking coldly at the door.

I was so embarrassed. I scurried out of the room and into the hallway, closing the door behind me. Tears blurred my eyes as I pulled the blanket tightly to my body.

I needed to get out of here. I traced my way back to the main door and although it took me a while to find it. A lot of the wolves in the pack house were staring at me as I left.
