“Leave her be!” Killian’s voice growled out in anger as Elizabeth went to punch me. She stopped and glared at the Alpha as he walked into the room, holding his shoulder.
“Sniper?” Jormun asked the Alpha.
“Silver bullet?” Killian responded with a question of his own.
“Only 25 percent silver. I am not cruel like your kind,” Jormun answered.
Killian sighed. “I should have guessed you were the one housing Villi,” he said, his defeat clear on his face. “The way you two danced together, with such familiarity with each other’s bodies, should have been a dead giveaway,” he added.
“I wish I could say I was sorry, but I know the life you forced upon her, so I have no pity for you,” Jormun told him. “You should have found a better way to handle the situation,” he told the Alpha.
“I was scared that she would be murdered just like my daughters were,” Killian expressed. “Fear can drive someone to do all kinds of things,” he admitted.
