Chapter 99

“We may have a problem,” Jormun said as he came over to the three of us.

“What? What’s wrong?” I asked him, my panic obvious in my voice.

“Elizabeth was seen by one of the guards staking out the building earlier. He did not think anything of it because she left, but they just spotted her and Killian casing the building together a few minutes ago.”

“Why didn’t they tell us immediately?” I questioned.

“I told them not to disturb us during the photo shoot. They are trying to handle it on their own; they even called for back-up, which has already arrived. The issue is now there have been a multitude of wolves spotted around the building,” he revealed.

“Can we just teleport everyone to safety?” I asked him.

“We could, but there is no guarantee that they won’t be able to track us via the residual magic left behind after teleportation,” Jormun sighed.

My fear began to overwhelm me as I realized that this meant our easy-going life was finally coming
