Chapter 20

“Time to wake up, miss,” Andra’s cheery voice said as she opened the curtains in my bedroom to let the sunlight pour into my bedroom.

“Ugh,” I groaned as I shoved my face down into my blanket and pillows more. “Five more minutes,” I begged.

“So… you do not wish to join master for breakfast before he leaves for the day?” she asked.

I groaned again before forcing myself to get out of bed.

“I have already started the shower for you,” Andra said as she guided me to my bathroom. “A nice hot shower will wake you up.”

“Is Jormun waiting for me?” I asked.

“I did not tell him you would be joining for breakfast yet, but he himself is not up and ready yet either,” she revealed. “I woke him up before coming to serve you, miss. He likes to get prepared on his own.”

“You mean he values his privacy?” I pretended to be shocked.

“Have your fun, miss,” Andra laughed airily. “I am just doing my job,” she smiled before leaving me alone in my bathroom.
