Chapter 25

“What did you do to her?”

When I came to, the first thing I heard was Lisa yelling. I groaned slightly as I began to open my eyes. I was in my bed yet again, with an IV attached to my arm once more. I glanced over to the far side of the room and saw Lisa scolding Andra and Jormun.

“She is too weak for you to be messing with her!” she continued to yell at them.

“Ow,” I whined as I started to sit up.

“Villi!” Andra and Lisa ran over to me.

Jormun did not join them and remained standing along the far side of the bedroom.

“I am so sorry for master’s behavior toward you. He has never acted so rash before!” Andra began to apologize.

I squinted at her as I tried to understand what she was talking about before the memories of the heated exchange I had shared with Jormun in the library rushed to the forefront of my mind.

“Oh,” I blushed as I covered my face with embarrassment. “I am so sorry, Jormun,” I apologized.

“Miss?” Andra asked.
