Chapter 69

After breakfast, Daring and Renard led me to the study for a lesson. As we made our way through the penthouse, with Andra just behind us, we discussed the goal of the lesson.

“Daring has selected several books that lay the foundation needed to expand your knowledge. Today, I will use my magic to help you absorb the knowledge held within the books in a matter of minutes if not seconds,” Renard explained.

“Once all the knowledge has been absorbed magically, I will administer a test to see if you can apply the knowledge on a practical level,” Daring added.

“Sounds like a plan,” I said as I beamed with excitement. I was more than thrilled at the prospect of not having to sit for several hours a day with Daring just to get a basic education. “I hope this all works out,” I expressed as we entered the study.
