Chapter 8
Edward accompanied me home, in which I found out that he deeply regretted not having used his car to get to the bridge, because we had to walk a long way. However, the walk was well appreciated. We talked all the way, making confessions and learning a little more about each other. We weren't even halfway there yet when I bent over and leaned my hands on my knees, panting and tired. I couldn't believe that he had made all that route from his house to the bridge, and I even considered that he had no hope of returning alive, because the walk would be mortally tiring.
"Aren't you a cheerleader?" Asked him with irony, although he had hurried to get closer to me and now tried to get up. "I thought you would have a good physical condition."
"I'm just the girl who dances to distract others," I gasped, closing my face. It was my fault, in part, for not continuing at my friends' party and letting them take me home. But I wouldn't have met Edward if that happened. "And not a player
