Germaine had been reminiscing on the vast Goblin hall. No one else in their party knew what she had seen except herself. Zar had taken her to mines that stretched to the centre of the earth, vaults of hidden treasures—gems, priceless relics, coins enough to make every citizen in the environ wildly rich. There were markets for trading, stages for plays and reenactments, underground fields of dirt for growing mushrooms and potatoes with light from shafts in the earth.
What was most spectacular was the hall of statues. Zar showed her various statues of different creatures from the past in memorials to date. Statues that portrayed Goblin history as well as the history of other realms. Giant werewolves carved from the earth, both in human form and wolf form. Different creatures from various realms molded to perfection, and even a few vampires as well, and there was a startling mold representation of Rage.
