Chapter 5. Paying Bills

I always judged those girls who made their boyfriends pay for their food, clothes, and necessities. Making your husband pay for you is acceptable, but making your boyfriend pay for your needs is too much for me. I always thought, if I would ever go on a date, I would definitely suggest splitting our bills.

However, I never had an opportunity to go on a date. Nobody ever asked me out, and I’ve never been interested in anyone enough to ask them out.

Yesterday and today were like a dream to me. We had spent the entire day together. I’ve never spent so much time with a boy before.

It was already dark outside. Why would it be? After all, it is 9:00 pm. We packed our bags, and I asked him to drop me off at my home.

On my way home, he stopped at Daddy’s Kitchen, the best restaurant in Libertyville. Girls would kill each other to go there with their date, and boys are terrified to pay their bills. It is the most expensive and well-known five-star restaurant.
