Jasmine looked at her with eyes full of pity. “I crushed on my teacher in high school once. Despite knowing I would never mean more than a student to him, I still made advances to him. “I have. I met him some years ago, and his accent irritated me. The same accent I used to swoon over. It might be the same for you now, Erin. You might be in love with the idea of being with Uriah, but not Uriah. He is a fine, rich, and sexy man whose ass I feel like tapping sometimes, but he might not be totally worth it.
