“Lin, do you really have to go on your field trip?” Kate asked her sister because she wanted Erlin to go with her and Jonas.
“I’m sorry, Kate, but I really must go. Attendance is a must and I already paid the contribution,” Erlin explained.
Kate nodded and said, “All right, then some other time. I put your allowance in your bag, buy something delicious, okay? I have to go now,” she said and carried her sling bag that contained her phone and wallet.
“Bye Kate, enjoy your date with Jonas.” Erlin teased her sister because she liked Jonas for being kind, thoughtful, and not judgmental towards her older sister.
“Shut up, it’s not a date, okay?” Kate rebuffed her sister’s assumptions because it wasn’t true.
“Whatever, just go now. I’m sure he is already waiting outside,” Erlin shooed her sister away and Kate burst into laughter.
“Maybe I should take back the five hundred pesos from your bag if you will continue to tease me,” she warned Erlin to stop tea
