"I'll be right back when I finish my work there." He gently caressed my cheek. "The butler will take care of you. I will call every day." I nodded and buried my face in his neck. "I love you, Aurora," he whispered, kissing my hair.

My chest felt hollow. I know he has a lot to do in Manila and work. I knew he was making moves to punish Chloe. They are aiming for justice.

"Will you be back soon?" I looked up at him, and we stared at each other. He took a deep breath and smiled.

I know that smile did not reach his eyes since Don Antonio scattered Senyora Patricia's ashes in the sea, and the mansion became quiet. The sound of the sea, the noise of the servants talking, and birds chirping can be heard. It seems even the estate is grieving.

"I will take you home. Nothing bad will happen because they have been hunted down. The surroundings are safer now. I will leave a guard for you. Promise me you'll take care of yourself for our baby Aurora."
