Chapter 45

May was having a full blown panic attack. Blessing did not turn own her location as she said she would, the restaurant owner that she met said she saw her and that she walked that way and was not responding when they tried to call her back. And that the man she came to meet left hours ago but she had been sitting down there and just moping.

She tried calling her phone again and it rang out, no answer. She called Weasel but he too was not picking her calls. She did not have Steve’s number or she would have called him. She stood under the rain with her hand in her hair in frustration. She knew she could not report this because it was not twenty four hours yet but she knew that something had happened.

Something horrible has happened and she did not know what to do about it. Tears she did not want fell freely from her eyes as she paced wondering what to do and that was how Chris found her.
