Chapter 5

Blessing's POV

It seemed luck was on our side tonight. We managed to get into the garage. There were so many cars there, but we didn’t know how to open them without keys.

I looked around, hoping to find the keys. And after a few minutes of searching, I spotted a set of keys on the floor by the door.

“Here,” I said to May, showing her the keys. “Let’s try these ones.”

“I’ll get it started,” she said. “You wait outside, just in case someone sees you.”

I nodded and walked out the door, leaving it slightly ajar behind me. I hid in a corner and waited.

I was nervous, but I tried to calm down. If this didn’t work, we were screwed.

I watched as she turned on the engine. The lights came on in the car, and I could tell the engine was working. It looked like she had it!

Now, we just needed to get out of there before anyone noticed.
