I was in the garden when one of the guards, Marcus, came running to me with a worried expression. “Alpha…you won’t believe what we saw last night. Tusa sneaking in a witch through the back entrance!” he said, without holding his breath.

But his expression shows that he was scared. Maybe he thought that I was the same Alpha. although I’m still pretending.

I frowned, “A witch? Here? In the Blood Moon Pack? Are you sure? How did it happen? That’s a clear violation of our principles. We don’t tolerate witches.”

Marcus nodded, “Exactly, Alpha. I thought you should know. Something fishy is going on, and I fear Tusa is up to no good.”
