Alpha Kanen’s POV

I frowned lightly. Who could that be again? I hated the fact I couldn’t be alone for some time with my thoughts, but I guess all these wouldn’t stop now. The price of being the Alpha was so great sometimes.

“Who is it?” I called out.

“It’s Beta Malone,” came his response.

I frowned as I walked over, grabbing a towel to cover my nether regions. I slowly pulled the door open and the Beta looked at me calmly.

“What is it?” I asked as I stepped back into the room.

“You have not sort me out since the night we had a misunderstanding, Alpha,” he said sulkily.

I shrugged as I made my way to the bed, sinking down on it. “Now, you’re here, what do you expect me to do.”

He looked at me in shock. “How cruel can you be?” he grumbled.
