Rose’s POV

“Are you all right?”

I turned to the sound of Bella’s voice. She was smiling at me as she tried to stoop closer to me. For some reason, no one had told me to report to my duties, and I had no idea if I wanted to be left alone like that. Nothing was how it should be around here and that made me slightly flustered.

I felt a hand on mine, and in response I jumped slightly as I looked at Bella. She gave me a sheepish smile which made me calm down for a bit.

“You seem lost,” she stated.

I pushed one of the loose strands behind my ear. “I’m so sorry about that. I…”

She shook her head at me. “It’s all right. I know that you performed a great feat today, and that was note easy on your part. But that is totally normal,” she stressed.
