Andrew’s POV

The forest was quiet, what was heard was our noise, Alpha Kanen shouting Rose name to know if she is in the forest.

Not minding that he was attracting wild animals with his voice, as I moved through the thick underbrush.

It was almost afternoon already. My heart pounded in my chest, fear and adrenaline coursing through my veins as I searched seriously for any sign of Luna Rose and Elise.

We’d been looking for them for hours, and with each passing minute, the fear in my stomach grew heavier.

Then, I saw her.

Elise was lying on the ground, partially hidden by the underbrush, her body still and lifeless.
