Ad I moved through the narrow, low lit corridors of the palace.

My goal was clear: reach the dungeons, and talk to my generals, and get the answers I needed.

But every step I took was met with another obstacle, and my frustration was starting to build.

I had to play the role of a guard perfectly. Every movement, every word had to blend in with the other soldiers.

One wrong move, one slip of the tongue, and I would be exposed.

As I neared the entrance that would lead me to the dungeons, I noticed two guards standing at the door, chatting casually.

I couldn’t just walk past them without raising suspicion. I had to think fast.

“Hey! You’re there!” one of the guards called out as I approached.

I froze for a second before composing myself. “Yes?” I answered, keeping my voice as steady as possible.
