Joe’s POV

One minute I was swinging my sword at monsters, and the next thing I knew, I found myself in the middle of a village.

It didn’t make any sense.

My mind was still racing, trying to make sense of how I had gone from fighting off lots of beasts standing here, surrounded by people who were…celebrating?

I blinked, confused by the sudden change in my surroundings.

All around me, people were laughing, hugging, and dancing like something amazing had just happened.

But how? Moments ago, I was knee-deep in a battle, and now this?

I rubbed my head, trying to shake off my disorganized self. I scanned the crowd, trying to figure out where I was.

I was confused and I kept turning and looking around to check and understand my surroundings.

The village looked familiar, but I couldn’t quite place it.

That’s when I saw someone moving through the crowd, heading straight for me.
