Chapter 68
Alpha Kanen’s POV
As I watch her eat, I think about how I lost my own parents. I knew the pain I had felt on the inside. I remember my brother Zion. I was a young boy then, but I had watched them murder my parents.
My mother was very fond of me and at her death spot, the assassin’s had given her a rock and a hard part to choose from. It was like giving her fire and heat. Before the assassin’s had killed her, they had wanted her to feel the pain of seeing her child die. They had asked her to pick between me and Zion.
Zion was a little older than me then, and we didn’t always get along all of the time. She didn’t say anything, but her eyes said everything. She looked at me intensely and they laid the sword on my neck.
“Nooooo!!!!” she screamed.
“We take it that you want him alive then,” one of them said, driving a sword through Zion.
I watched my mom burst into severe tears, as her death also came to her. Before they had time to focus on me,
