Eleanor's POV

I opened my eyes, I was immediately greeted by the pang of a sore throat. The act of breathing, even swallowing, had become a challenge as the discomfort persisted. Sighing deeply, I shut my eyes tightly, hoping for a brief respite from the discomfort. 

After a period of rest, I summoned the strength to rise from the floor where I had spent a restless night. My body throbbed with discomfort, evidence of the uncomfortable position I had unwittingly maintained. 

Before starting my day, I made my way to the bathroom to refresh myself with a soothing bath. The warm water cascaded over me, easing the tension from my muscles and providing a moment of peace. After the bath, I stepped out and adorned a simple gown, opting for comfort as I prepared myself to face the day ahead.
