Chapter 215. Successful Dinner
On the celestial canvas, which was being illuminated by a crescent moon, the deep orange glow of the golden hour was blending with shades of purple, rose quartz, and serenity as the sun was beginning to set.
The only thing that could be heard breaking the silence of the evening was the chirping of the birds, the buzzing of the cicadas and crickets, and the rustling of the leaves on the gigantic trees.
The night was surprisingly hot, and I didn’t realize that I was already sweating from reading the pregnancy book. I huffed in boredom, as I got up from the chair near the window, set the book down on the bedside table, and checked the time, realizing that Sebastian was soon going to be done with his work--- which he’d spent more time on after I’d told him that I was going to read a book.
