A part of him screamed inside my head.

The moment Shea left the house, his insides suddenly felt like it wanted to split apart. He held his throbbing head. He groaned because of the sudden pain that he felt.

Lexi instantly went towards him and held his arm. She seemed to be so worried of him. “D-Denver…what is happening? A-Are you okay? Do you need the healer?” She inquired using her panicky voice.

“G-Get out!”

But he refused her touch and shouted at her all of a sudden. He didn’t know where it came from, but it was an order that she should follow.

“S-Shut the f*ck up and leave!”

She flinched as she heard his thundering voice. She swallowed the lump in her throat as she slowly stood up and walked out of the room. She was doubtful, but she couldn’t stop the fact that it was Denver’s order, and she couldn’t defy this.
