“I’m here to talk to you. Let’s go home, Reese…” Enzo said, his voice begging.
“Go home?” I almost laughed at his statement. What home was he talking about? I was just a guest at Liza’s house, if he was referring to it. “This is my home, Enzo…”
He pushed the door to the fullest extent, which caught me off guard, and I froze as his eyes swept over me in a leisurely languid glance that set my cheeks to blaze. “Do you always welcome a visitor like that?”
“I have just gotten out of the shower, and… I can’t find my clothes, so I…”
Enzo cut me off by raising a brow and lips curved in an amused smile. “Aren’t you happy to see me?” he drawled, leaning against the door with his arms crossed across his chest.
My eyes were drawn to the ripple of biceps that were straining against his tight white shirt, and I swallowed the lump in my throat, my eyes traveling back to his face only to see him smiling widely.
