Chapter 47. Scent of Lavender
Lilly’s POV
“Just imagine yourself human again,” Asena mused, a hint of amusement in her voice.
Was she serious right now?
“Very,” she replied to my unspoken thoughts.
I inhaled deeply and closed my eyes. For a moment, I hesitated, feeling a familiar fear nibbling at the edges of my mind.
I pushed it aside and took another deep breath.
I imagined myself standing in front of a mirror, gazing at my reflection. The image began to shift, the familiar contours of my face slowly materializing in the glass. I could almost feel the warmth of sunlight on my skin and the weight of my hair cascading gracefully over my shoulders.
