Chapter 50. Dying
Lilly’s POV
Everything around me was just a blur as I moved through the funnel. Faces, images, and events flashed by, while muffled sounds echoed like distant dreams. A strange mix of anticipation and fear coursed through me.
I could feel my heart racing as I tried to grasp what was happening, but the rush of emotions made it difficult to focus. I was uncertain about my destination, but one thing was clear: I was filled with fear at the prospect of discovering it. Nausea rolled in my stomach as the blurry images rushed past me faster and faster. I shut my eyes and prayed to the Goddess to keep me safe.
Then, in an instant, it felt like I was falling, crashing into something soft as the wind abruptly vanished.
