I watched Ria and Lilly disappear into the crowd, keeping a careful distance as they ducked into a clothing store. The mall was packed—people everywhere, noise bouncing off the high ceilings. I wasn’t worried. Ria liked to pretend she was clever, but I knew all her tricks. Or so I thought.
