Chapter 90
Summer POV
“Are you okay?” Estelle asked.
“No, I’m not.”
“Where’s the car?” Vik barked.
“Gone,” Brook groaned, clutching her head.
We got our asses kicked by an older woman. I shifted and noticed my pants were damp. Don’t tell me I peed myself. Gardenia wasn’t that scary!
I looked down and saw the stain on my dark blue jeans.
“Oh-oh no,” I gasped.
“What’s wrong, Summer?” Estelle asked.
She followed my gaze. Everything happened so fast. Voices overlapped, and my vision blurred. I couldn’t make sense of what they said, but I knew what my body said. It was time to shut down.

“Yes, Alpha,” a woman responded.
I felt a presence to my right. My body was stiff and my mouth was dry. How did I get home? I opened my eyes, but they stung from the dim lamp lights.
