Chapter 96

Summer POV

“Dad!”

I hugged my Dad when I opened the front door. It took him an hour to get there. He arrived with Oliver too.

“Who did you leave the Pack with?” I asked.

“Hunter, Ezra left his brother in charge,” Oliver replied.

“I’m sure he did that because you were around, Oliver.”

Oliver chuckled. “Hunter’s grown up a lot. Thanks to Estelle. Do you have more sisters, Summer?”

I stared at my Dad. “I don’t know, do I, Dad?”

“Let’s get to the problem at hand,” Dad said, changing the conversation. “I spoke to an insider with the council of Alphas and they confirmed they have Ezra locked up but they won’t tell me why so we have to go there.”

“Why won’t they tell you? How serious is it?”

“It’s probably political. Ezra hasn’t done anything in a while,” Oliver said.
