Chapter 38. Unexpected Visitation

The door opened and Lucas walked in alongside Brian, who looked worried. Sometimes I ask myself if he cared about me or what he benefited from my union with Lucas.

The doctor narrowed her eyes on me, I didn't know what she was going to say but I knew it would be nothing but the truth.
