Chapter 40. Who Is the Enemy of the Blacks
“What is wrong with my son?” Brian asked. I knew he was panicking inside. My mother walked to him as she rubbed his back.
“You should be aware of his case of hypogonadism?” the doctor said, and Brian nodded. My head wanted to explode. Hypogonadism, I knew what it meant.
I didn’t understand why they thought he had that illness when I was standing right here to prove that it wasn’t true.
“It’s draining his muscle mass. It’s nothing serious, but I would give him some medication for the side effects,” the doctor said, and I watched as Brian sighed in relief. I could see the pain in his eyes.
The man was strong to have endured so much, losing his wife and son, then finding out his other son couldn’t produce children. I sat down as everything seemed to make more sense.
I understood why Brian was desperate
