Calista’s POV

My mind churned with doubts and disappointment in myself, knowing that keeping secrets from her was not a sustainable path. With a heavy heart, I retreated to my room, clutching my phone tightly. I scrolled through her messages with happiness and nervousness at the same time, praying for a solution to ease the growing complexity of our situation.
